Summer 2017 will feature four great events courtesy of AHS. Here's a sneak peek at the event lineup!
Saturday, June 10th: Culver resident Dr. Gene Tardy will present an informative program on the Lewis and Clark expedition. Free and open to the public.
Saturday, July 8th: Larry Paarlburgh from the Lew Wallace Study and Museum will discuss Lew Wallace and the Culver connection. Free and open to the public.
Saturday, July 29th: The AHS annual fundraiser will feature an evening of music with Grammy winner Marietta Simpson.
August: Local farmers will be reliving and discussing farming from the 1800s to the present, including changes in farms, farming equipment, and farming techniques. Free and open to the public.

Our annual AHS meeting features Susanne Schwibs of IU who will be presenting her documentary, “Along the Wabash: The Story of Indiana’s State River,” which was produced in conjunction with the celebration of Indiana’s Bicentennial year of statehood. This event is free and open to the public!

Saturday, August 20th
Relive the first Indy 500! This intriguing program was prepared by Katy Lewallen, whose family produced the Marmon car that won the first Indy 500 one hundred years ago. This unique PowerPoint presentation will have outstanding information about the beginnings of the Marmon car as well as a presentation from a representative of the Indiana Motor Speedway about the historic 100th running of the race! This event is free and open to the public.

Sunday, September 11th
The Marmon Car Club of America is coming to Culver! They will display their rare cars at the Culver Town Park from 11:00am - 3:00pm, giving community members the chance to view the cars and talk with the owners. This event is free and open to the public.
